On behalf of the EPWBA committee, a big thank you to all the participants of this year's SAWBA tournament.
It takes real dedication to play for so many days.
Congratulations to all the winners - in the Interprovincials, Pairs and Team events.
Thank you again to Lotte and Rob for such a well run tournament.
Take care everyone.
Kind regards,
Jill Meiring

Thank you all for playing in SAWBA 2022, and thank you to the Port Elizabeth committee for taking on the job of conveners of this year's competition.
Congratulations to all the winners, - well played!
It's been a rough few years for all of us, - many having lost friends and loved ones, and had plans disrupted by lockdown and mandated restrictions.
For many of us, being able to play bridge online has kept us sane through the pandemic, and it's heartening to see that women's bridge is still alive and well in South Africa.
However, - we feel the time has come to return to our "new normal", and get back to the physical tables.
Therefore, SAWBA 2023 is (tentatively) planned to take place LIVE in Cape Town on 18 - 24 March 2023.
We very much look forward to welcoming everyone to the "Mother City" again, - and the committee will do its utmost to assist with accommodation for the out of town players.
The Interprovincial segment will remain online, and is scheduled to take place 11 - 12 March 2023.
Best wishes,
Michele Alexander
SAWBA Chairlady
